At my return from Seoul (where I went to make a monumental work during the 1988 Olympic Games) the authorities of the Favaloro Foundation expressed their desire to count with one of my works in their newly opened headquarters in Av. Belgrano. I hasten to fill this request with gratitude, giving birth to Planetarium Heart.

The work, completed in 1990, was located in front of the building, on the atrium of access on the ground floor. In 2005, on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the Favaloro Foundation, I wrote the following:

The truth of "Heart Planetarium" it’s not in what it represents, but in how the representation is conducted and states.

I tried to create an enveloping space and another suggested, with stainless steel plates across a broad sentimental hug. At the top of the work there are two hemispheres polished to mirror, made of the same material, reflecting a fragment of the surrounding reality and covering the finite end of the picture, to the infinity edge of contemplation.
As in all of my works, this implies premeditation: blueprints, drawings and scale models which previously were presented to Dr. Rene G. Favaloro.
Therefore, to display a presence is distinguished by their originality within a context of multiple ramifications. Finally, I’m convinced that art is the currency of the absolute.
Thank you, Dr. Favaloro, for giving me this opportunity to be at the shore of the Foundation. From all my heart!
